Pillow Project and Giveaway

by Jennifer Heynen October 13, 2015 13 Comments

A few weeks ago during my blog tour I created this project for Clover Needlecraft. You can get the entire how-to over at their blog.
As part of the Do You Stitch Kitsch Giveaway? I'm hosting a few smaller giveaways as well. This week's prize will be a set of pom pom makers and yo yo makers. I'm a little jealous because I don't have that big pom pom maker. As soon as I am finished writing this post I'm going to add it to my wish list.
Leave a comment on this post telling me if you've ever made anything with pom pom's or yo yo's and if so what did you make?
I'll randomly pick a winner next Wednesday. And I hope you like the pillow tutorial better than Ruby did.

Twenty years ago, I made pompoms for a cute poodle skirt for my daughter and all the girls in her third grade class. I have also made lots of yo yos, for added prettiness on dresses, purses, and pillows. I would love to win the tools to make them, I’m sure it is faster! Thanks for this great giveaway!! :)

I’ve made the yo-yo’s for a small flowers for a wall hanging and also for self-covered button
embellishment to revamp a shirt. These were made the original method. A tool would make it more accurate, and more efficient for sure.

I have been making yoyo’s by hand but a maker sounds nice. I like the idea of a pompon maker. Always need one for this and that in crafts plus a good toy for cat.

LOVE pop poms but haven’t made them since I was a little kid and that was aLONG time ago! Use to glue the little googly eyes on them and antenna’s LOL!

My daughter and I are making pom poms right now! We made a couple of her dolls a puppy out of them. We are also using them to make a garland for her bedroom.

I LOVE pom poms and yo yos! I use yo yos to make jewelry and hair clips. Sew two or three or more for necklaces, bracelets etc. So cute!

I made pompoms for my ice skates back in grade school, and I made a yo-yo clown for my daughter when she was little. I’d love to win the pompom and yo-yo makers and get re-inspired. Thanks for the opportunity!
