Studio Tour

by Jennifer Heynen August 19, 2015 22 Comments

My studio redo has turned in to a never ending project. I guess that's just how it goes right? I did some posts a while back on how we were turning our garage in to my studio. But I never posted again, because I wanted it to be finished before you saw it.
Then....things got busy and I had to get to work(in the studio) I got it to the point it was functional. These are photos I snapped in the spring, yep....they were still on the camera, that's how behind I am.
The fun stuff like curtains, things on the wall, etc. got postponed.  As I sit here today, this place needs a good clean up and some more things on the walls.
But, it's getting there.
Have a great day,

Sorry, I ran out of credit buy tetracycline China rules the former British colony through a “onecountry, two systems” formula which allows wide-ranging autonomyand freedoms not enjoyed on the mainland and specifies universalsuffrage as an eventual goal.

Awesome! Just a great inspiration with the colors and layout. I don’t have this amount of space as yet, but I do have a “studio” in the house for now, with hopes of making our shed my studio in the future. The shed was to be my studio but things kind of changed family wise. I foresee better things to come when I find time to retire and enjoy my crafting abilities full time.

Your studio is so nice and bright! I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who has to work in their studio in the midst of redo chaos. Challenging to be sure, but the redo is so worth is. I’ve been redoing mind this summer and it still needs a little tweaking but its coming. I know that you are going to enjoy working in the space when the dust finally settles

Such a bright and pretty space to work in, it looks great!
My sewing room in an ongoing project too, I clean it up and then start working on projects again, then tidy it again and then make another mess and I am forever organizing my patterns :D
I guess that is the joy of sewing!

Love it…wish I had that much space. Who is the maker/brand for those great cabinets and cubbies in the first pic?

Amazing. I am desperate to redo my studio, to make it more organized and hoping to have it be a place of inspiration. So far it’s in the “dreaming” stage. I love your space, it is exactly what I would want for my pottery/jewelry studio.

Looks amazing! I’ve had my space for two years now and I continually tweaked it until it just felt “right”. And I just found a 9’ long Formica topped dining table ( with leaves ) for $25. Absolute perfect work table and a lucky garage sale find. It’s always fun!

What a truly fabulous space! I love the color on those awesome metal shelves you found, what fantastic storage. I think I may need to take over my husbands barn so I can have a space like this! ;)
